The Tribhuvan University (TU) has introduced M.Phil programme in Nepali for the first time from 21 Bhadra 2066 BS.Thirty-five students will be enrolled for the programme in this first academic secession, said Prof Rajendra Subedi, Department Chief of the Nepali Central Department."Earlier, students could directly enroll in PhD programme. But with the introduction of M.Phil in Nepali, one has to complete this programme to join PhD," he said.However, the new system doesn't bar those students, who have submitted proposal for PhD programme within Margh last year to Shrawan this year, said Assistant Din of TU's Faculty of Humanities of Arts and Sociology Tarakanta Pandey.
